Week 13: 11/18/2019 - 11/24/2019
For this week, we had to get both the front and back modules mounted onto the bicycle and collect our results. Earlier in the week, we soldered some extension wires onto the back module hardware in order to run everything to the front. This can be seen below (Red = Stepper motor, White = LIDAR, Blue = Camera, Yellow = Limit Switch).
Using the printed brackets, we were able to mount the back module onto the bicycle, and using small zipties, we mounted the front module as well to then run all our extended wires to the front of the bicycle.
With both modules mounted and sturdy, we were able to start collecting our results starting in the daytime and into the night to allow for different conditions.
