Week 3: 09/09/2019 - 09/15/2019
After the meeting with Professor Ejaz on September 9, we decided we would try and ensure the camera and TFT screen operation, as well as getting started with the report. Throughout the week, we continued troubleshooting the camera and utilizing different resources to try and get the camera to solely output pictures to a computer just to ensure that the module is not faulty. By Saturday, September 14, we were finally able to see the camera taking pictures. The next step with the camera module is to connect it to the TFT display and see live video. Unfortunately, due to the length of time spent on the camera, Week 4 will be spent working the TFT display and furthering our progress with the camera module. The wiring of the camera to the Arduino and an example screenshot from the camera can be seen below.
