Week 8: 06/23/2019 - 06/29/2019

Sean performed calculations to ensure the battery chosen would provide enough power to operate the module for the decided upon time of 6 hours. In addition a stepper motor was chosen for the project that would provide enough torque to quickly shift the LIDAR sensor for the required range. Care was taken to ensure the stepper motor wouldn't demand too much current, which is a problem with some motors.

Avery finalized the budget with the addition of newly decided upon components. He also wrote Chapter 3 of the report which included the budget and the tentative timeline for the project design. Avery also updated the progress reports on the website.
